More Red
I was looking back through these pictures in this series and I noticed the abundance of red. What can I say? I love red! No, it's not my favorite color, but I do really love it. I decorate with it, I wear it, and I photograph it. Red's just a great color for photography! This is part of a fire hydrant that is much larger, bulkier, and uglier than just the handle. I loved the shadowing and how the sun bounces off various parts of the handle in this shot.

About Me
- Photography by {michelle|kay}
- I'm new to photography and Photoshop, but I'm totally in love. Yeah, yeah, I love my husband and all, but my Canon and CS4--wow! Who knew that shooting photos could be so exciting. I love finding that perfect shot and find myself framing things in my mind wherever I go. My inspiration: Psalm 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."
